Description
Open Heart is used to harmonize the mind, it helps in anger, depression, grief, fear, nervous tension and stress. It also helps in dealing with emotional problems, self-esteem and self-nurturing. It fights depression and helps to address emotional sadness and loss. It is considered the oil of choice for use during times of grief. It can be helpful for those that suffer from PTSD and varying levels of anxiety. It has a euphoric, uplifting effect on the psych. Its cooling action also helps to relieve frustration and sexual tension and is a premiere sensual aphrodisiac and invites sensuality, relaxes inhibitions and frustration, relieving impotence and frigidity. It strengthens resolve and imparts courage. It quells “butterflies” and alleviates anger.
Uses
Diffuse to create a relaxed and open-hearted atmosphere. Dilute to 2% or less in a suitable carrier oil before applying to the skin.

Contraindications
- Avoid when you need to concentrate on something due to its strong sedative nature.
- Open Heart contains Neroli, which is recognised as a water hazard and it should not be disposed of near any waterway or where it may leach into wetlands, streams or rivers.
- Prolonged exposure to Open Heart may have a deleterious effect on your nervous system. If you start to experience headache or nausea, discontinue its use immediately.
- Use with care as it can sensitize the skin and cause phototoxicity. Avoid during pregnancy
