Description
Bay has a calming and warming effect on emotions and can trigger inspiration. A few drops of Bay on your pillow will give prophetic dreams. It also settles the digestive system, excess gas and acts as a tonic on the liver and kidneys. In small amounts it has a stimulating effect, while larger doses produce a sedative effect.
Bay gives physical strength to those engaged in sports, particularly wrestling. It also induces mental strength particularly for those involved in confrontation. It provides a useful barrier against insidious attempts to change your mind or ethics.
Uses
Use in a vaporizer for treating infection, fever and rheumatic pains, muscular aches, neuralgia, rheumatism and poor circulation.
Use in a water-based diffuser to a produce a calming and warming effect on emotions and for triggering inspiration, prophetic dreams and mental strength for those involved in confrontation.
Add a couple of drops of Bay to shampoos, conditioners and hair preparations to control dandruff and promote hair growth where it is helpful with hair and scalp conditions.
Diluted to 1% or less in a carrier oil it helps in treating sprains, strains and bruises

Contraindications
Bay oil has a high eugenol content and may irritate the skin and mucus membranes. Avoid during pregnancy.
