Vanilla Absolute - Vanilla planifolia
In Africa, healers used vanilla for stomach problems. Vanilla Absolute is mostly used in skin preparations for its wonderful, sweet aroma. This ready to use Vanilla is a 3% dilution in a blend of Organic Grapeseed (Vitis vinifera) and Organic Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) carrier oils It can also be blended with a base cream or lotion when it has a positive effect on all skin types.

This product contains vanillin that will change the colour in soaps and body care products. Not suitable for candle use. Vanilla is soluble in ethanol only. It is immiscible in water and oil. Avoid very high concentrations in skin care. It is recommended that this oil be stored in dark amber, blue or green glass bottles since it has been found to dissolve aluminium bottles.
Use sparingly and no more than 4 times per day.
