Organic Rosemary – Rosmarinus officinalis
Rosemary is a stimulant. A few drops in the bath are helpful after an illness as a pick-me-up and tonic. It is useful as a muscle ease for tired, stiff and overworked muscles. The odour is warm, penetrating and stimulating - great after sports activities, especially when combined with Lavender and Marjoram. Rosemary essential oil stimulates cell renewal. It improves dry or mature skin, eases lines and wrinkles, and heals burns and wounds. It can also clear acne, blemishes or dull dry skin by fighting bacteria and regulating oil secretions. It improves circulation and can reduce the appearance of broken capillaries and varicose veins. Rosemary essential oil. Traditionally used in skin and hair care. Good toner. Rejuvenating to skin. Rinse for dark hair and hair in poor condition. Restores colour to dark hair and helps combat dandruff with a dry scalp. Strong antiseptic and also an insect repellent especially for lice.
