Description
The struggle to breathe brought on by winter colds and flu is a misery. For some the shortness of breath is a permanent situation. Asthma, allergies and more serious diseases such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) need active management. Breathe Easy can provide some relief as part of an active management plan.
Breathe Easy is blended to help with respiratory ailments, catarrh & sinusitis and is excellent for coughs caused by congestion of the throat and chest. Helps to break down and cough up heavy deposits of mucous. Soothes inflamed bronchioles and eases tightness across the chest.
Uses
Massage the chest, throat and the top lip taking care to avoid the mucus membranes in the nose. Breathe Easy can also be used as an inhalant by putting a few drops into steaming water and inhaling the steam
Dilution
- Undiluted – dilute to 3% or less in a suitable carrier oil
- Ready to Use Breathe Easy is blended in a 3% dilution in Grapeseed (Vitis vinifera) and Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) Carrier Oil.
- On request a 3% dilution in Sweet Almond (Prunus amygdalus var. dulcis) and Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) Carrier Oil is available.
Aromatic Scent
Breathe Easy has a sharp camphoraceous fragrance with a citrus top note and a woody base note
Emotional Properties
Breathe Easy is stimulating and lifts exhaustion and mental sluggishness. It rejuvenates the spirits of the sick. Relieves anxiety and nervous tension.
Useful if suffering from lack of concentration and memory loss. Creates a sense of alertness. Raises the energy levels. It is a useful anti-depressant when the anxiety results from failures in love life and social standing. Opens hearts and brings awareness of the energies that affect our lives. It calms those with painful emotions, allowing them to have patience while trying to understand love. It will bring acceptance, particularly of long-standing or chronic illness. Good for meditation as it elevates the mind, slows and deepens breathing.
Especially effective in healing rifts between family or lovers.
Contraindications
Avoid if suffering from kidney disorders. Avoid use on children and elderly people. Avoid in cases of hypertension – may increase blood pressure. Use with care as it can sensitize the skin and cause photo-toxicity. Should not be used in pregnancy. Avoid if taking blood thinning medication. Avoid if suffering from an upset stomach.
